Here is the latest offering in my new range of jewellery inspired by the sea.
I cut out a tiny little anchor by drilling and then sawing a silver disc and then soldered it onto a tiny silver half ball. This makes a light, bauble ring which stacks beautifully with other rings. I have plans to make similar rings with a ship and star too!

Mother of Pearl Brooch
I picked up this gaming counter today at an Antiques Collector Fair.

It is probably 18th century and made in China from mother of pearl. I think it is really beautiful and will make a really lovely brooch when I fit it with a silver bezel and brooch back.

Radicals and Non-Conformists

If you live in London and find the time, come along and see the Radicals and Non-Conformists exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery from 20th June until 3rd July. It's free and well worth a look to see an eclectic display demonstrating the myriad talents of those working at the gallery. I have created a self portrait by piercing details freehand in silver sheet and there is everything from jewellery to furniture for your perusal.

Enamelled Moon Bunnies and Fox
In my jewellery class this evening, I experimented with enamelling my designs.
I think the Moon Bunnies are my favourite!
