The Brontë Sisters Notebook

This is something new for my shop! Here are some notebooks created for all literary ladies and perfect for making quick notes, jotting down plot ideas for your novel or sketching.

Based on my original artwork reflecting the interior of the Brontë parsonage in Haworth (pictured below), the scene portrays the three Brontë sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne (from left to right) in their dining room supporting each other in their literary endeavours and working on their respective novels. The three sisters are even wearing the colours depicted in the famous portrait by their brother Bramwell in the National Portrait Gallery, London.

You can see how I created the various collage aspects of the picture using cut outs, paint and even a vintage printing block!

I then had a little bit of help photographing the finished notebooks from a certain fluffy cat!
